|I just read an article about the benefits of going gluten free, even if you aren't sensitive to gluten. The two main points were that:
1. Gluten may lead to brain degeneration.
2. gluten challenges the immune system.

|I just read this article from the news feed. It is an argument for all schools to have epi-pens, but it also quotes some eye-opening statistics on the increase in food allergies among children.
This excerpt is from the 6th paragraph in the article:

|I think everyone who deals with food allergies could benefit from reading this article and sharing it with care givers. It basically says to use your epi and not wait for symptoms when you know there has been exposure. |No more GMO: Monsanto drops bid to approve new crops in Europe
Why is Europe so far ahead of us on GMO issues? I wouldn't eat that stuff if you paid me. There has been a lot of research into the effect GMO crops have on food allergies.
